There was an interesting tidbit on ThinkSecret recently though, about a new version of Library that will suppposedly be out this summer. I've been looking for a solution to this too but haven't found any that I am happy with.
Is that correct? Also, do I need the USB version, or can I buy the PS2 version and use a PS2-USB adapter? Finally, does anyone know a good source for USB CueCats (preferably already hacked) these days? They seem to be available on eBay only in lots of 10 or 50. However, a little google research suggests that the CueCat must be hacked/modified before it will read regular UPC codes.
Library is cheap, but fairly bare-bones, while Intelliscanner is nice but very expensive.Ĭan anyone who has experience with any of these applications on the Mac platform share their thoughts, or perhaps recommend an alternative product? Before someone suggests it, I don't really have the time or inclination to use FileMaker to "roll my own."Īlso, I don't have a barcode scanner, but I understand that a CueCat can be used for this purpose, and that they are still readily available.
Of these three, ReaderWare seems full-featured, but seems not to support foreign UPCs, and has a poor interface. I'm aware of a few alternatives: ReaderWare, Library, and Intelliscanner Collector.
Able to export data for further manipulation. Support for non-US titles (my wife is German, and lots of our books and CDs are from Germany, the UK, or elsewhere). Lookup UPCs over Internet to pull product information (title, author, ISBN, cover art, etc.). I'd like to find a good solution for OS X that can do the following: Paste the new URL back into your browser's address bar (Command+V or CTRL+V) and hit the enter/return key to load the page. As long as you're still logged into Dashboard it should create a CSV export for your desired time frame.I've been contemplating trying to catalog our book and music collection (probably around 1000 books, and maybe 700 CDs). Once you have edited the dates in your text editor. At the end of the URL, you can change the startDate and endDate values. The date format in this URL is Year-Month-Day. This should copy a URL in the following format. If you right-click on the Export Orders to CSV button and choose "Copy Link Address" or "Copy Link" depending on your browser. You can, however, specify the date range that you would like to export. This is to avoid creating a file that is too large to process. And is limited to 20,000 orders at a time. See this guide for more information on abandoned carts Įxporting more than just the last 30 days.īy default, the order export only exports in the last 30 days of orders.
You may want to exclude any unpaid orders from your reporting.
If an order is not paid - it will show as a '0' - then its an abandoned cart order.
In your CSV report, column D shows if an order is paid (1) or not (0). This will create a file with all your orders from the last 30 days in it that you can view. Under the Export heading, find the Export Orders to CSV button. On the left-hand menu find the Ecommerce Settings > Import & Export option. To do this once you have logged in to your dashboard using your login details click into the store settings (3 dots icon). You can export a list of orders to a CSV file in your store settings. This feature is a way to place your order history into an excel spreadsheet so that you are able to see all of them in one list for running your own analysis or importing into other software.
